Adult Academic Programs

Our comprehensive adult education program caters to individuals pursuing high school completion through the HiSET and Diploma options, as well as those looking to enhance adult literacy. The program includes courses focusing on fundamental skills in math and English, along with an evening Life Skills program. Additionally, our Speakers of Other Languages courses provide language instruction and cultural immersion tailored to diverse linguistic backgrounds.

Continuing Education

Our Continuing Education program, the Maine College and Career Access (MCCA) Program, collaborates with partners to offer training in diverse fields such as bank teller skills, Microsoft Office proficiency, and Medical Assistant (MA) programs. Complementing this, our comprehensive college and career advising program provides valuable guidance for your next steps. With a College Success Coordinator at KVCC, we ensure personalized support for learners, offering both college and career navigation.

Community Education

Our Community Enrichment Program provides a diverse range of engaging learning opportunities aimed at fostering personal growth and community involvement. Community education, encompassing classes and workshops spanning areas such as music, art, fitness, and outdoor education, seeks to enhance the knowledge, skills, and well-being of individuals. Funded entirely by registration fees, the program covers instructor wages, credit card payment processing, and operational costs.
