Community education refers to classes and workshops designed to enhance the knowledge, skills, and well-being of individuals in the community. It often includes diverse opportunities, such as music, art, fitness, outdoor education. The goal is to empower people, foster a sense of belonging for everyone in our community, and provide a space with people to gather and learn from each other.
Our community education program is funded entirely by the registration fees associated with each class. The registration fee covers the instructor’s wages, the website to process credit card payments and associated operational costs. If a class does not have enough registrations to pay these costs, we are forced to cancel the class and refund those who have registered. MMRACE determines one week before a class is set to start whether a class must be canceled or not due to low enrollment. It is important to sign up early to ensure they are not canceled.
Our Print Catalog will be in Mail Boxes the middle of August. Community Education Classes start as soon as August 27th, 2024.
