Elevate your musical proficiency with precision and passion with instruction from one of Elm City Community Music's talented instructors. Tailored to all levels, our instructors focus on technique, theory, and your unique goals. Ages: 8 & up!

Choose the type of lesson that is the best fit for you!

30-minute private lesson = $200 per participant

60-minute semi-private lesson (2-3 participants at a similar skill level)=$290 per participant

60-minute private lesson = $380 per participant.

An Elm City Community Music representative will contact you after you have registered to schedule you for your specific lesson time between 8:00am - 1:00pm. Please ensure you use current and accurate contact information when registering.

*Participants who are under 16 years old must have a parent or guardian remain on-site for the duration of the class. A separate registration and payment is only required for the parent/guardian if the adult will also be participants in the class. Are you interested in improving you and your family’s health, savingmoney at the grocery store, and learning helpful nutrition tips? This class meets for ten lessons lasting 15-20 minutes long with interactive videos, print lessons, worksheets, and Zoom for call-in weekly meetings. Since this class is individual, there is an open start dateand flexible online times at your convenience to complete the 10sessions. Pineland Suzuki School: Books 1-3

In Pineland Suzuki Books 1-3, participants will dive into more advanced ensemble-building techniques, appropriate for age and level of each learner, in a playful and non-competitive environment. Memorization is encouraged for freedom and depth of experience, but music is allowed, if needed. This class is best suited for learners of all ages who study violin, viola, and/or cello and know at least one piece of Suzuki Book 1 or above.

Stress Relief Yoga: Gentle Yoga and Meditation

School St. Yoga's Kathleen Haberstock will lead this calming class will boost your immune system, releasing tension from problem areas with gentle movement and restorative yoga poses. Yogic breathing techniques and meditation will balance and refresh. The goal is to leave you feeling more relaxed and easeful after each class and to bring equilibrium to body and mind. All students should bring a blanket or a towel to class. Students who have their own mat and props (block, belts, etc.), please bring those in addition to a blanket or towel. No prior yoga experience required. Limit 15 students.

Have you ever wanted to have laying hens, raise baby chicks in the spring, or just have that down-home feel of chickens clucking happily in your yard? We've partnered with Maine Organic Farmers and Gardeners Association(MOFGA) to help you learn the basics! Livestock specialist, Jacki Perkins, will cover breed considerations, housing options, chick arrival, nutrition, and possible health issues, and other best practices. This class is appropriate for those who want-to-be, beginners, and those who like to discuss their chickens. Limit 20 students.

Paint your pet in acrylic. After registering, you will be emailed instructions on how to send photos to the instructor of your pet. The instructor, Shirley, will premix the colors for your pet and will sketch your pet photo onto a canvas. In class, you will take care of the painting your pet! Use of fun colors and a playful spirit are a must in this class! All materials are provided. Limit 10 students.
