We will target releasing tension from problem areas with gentle movement and restorative yoga poses. We will also do some calming yogic breathing techniques and meditation to bring us into balance. The goal is to leave you feeling more relaxed and easeful after each class and to help bring equilibrium to body and mind. Limit 20 students.
Gentle Yoga is just that, a gentler approach to exploring movement linked with breath and body alignment. Props (which are all available at the studio) may include chairs, blocks, blankets, and yoga mats. Because chairs are always available, this a great class for students that may have any mobility limitations. Gentle Yoga is also a nice introduction to yoga if you’re feeling that you want to go a little slower. No prior yoga or meditation experience is necessary. Limit 10 students.
