Learn up-to-date methods for safely preparing, handling, and serving food for large groups such as soup kitchens, church functions, food pantries, and community fundraisers—or even for your very own family!

This workshop will cover the following food safety guidelines: planning and purchasing, storing food, supplies needed, preparing food, transporting food, storing and serving cooked food, and proper handling of leftovers.

Participants will receive the Cooking for Crowds Manual, Certificate of Attendance, posters, and an instant read thermometer. There is a $15 materials fee, separate from the registration fee, due directly to the instructor at the start of the first class.
