This course is ideal for adult students who want to refresh or build and develop the basic skills of math that are necessary for further integration into more complicated math skills. Academic areas to be covered: place value, units of measure, four operations, automaticity in addition and multiplication, reading one-step and two-step word problems, tables/graphs, conversions, maps, math vocabulary and finally, introduction to fractions/decimals. This course will also assist parents of children in early education to work with them at home.
