Masks will be required for all in-person classes.
This is a beginner dog training class and is designed for the young and not so young. We work in small groups with several trainers assisting. The first night will be an Orientation and Information night held on Monday, Nov. 15, at Messalonskee High School for the two-legged family member/s only. (Only one registration per dog.) You will get a helpful manual and many issues will be discussed including the commands taught such as walking on a loose leash, stay and come exercises as well as other techniques. We will also discuss your behavior concerns. The four subsequent evenings will be held on Mondays off-site at the Fairfield Community Center from 6:00-7:00 p.m. All dogs will need to be on a leash at all times, and NO dogs will be allowed if they are aggressive. When you register online, you will receive a packet attached to your receipt from the Adult Ed office. Please print, read, sign, and bring with you to class. Please bring proof of vaccinations, $100 material fee payable to the instructor (NO CREDIT CARDS), and your completed packet to orientation night. Inclement weather make up will be Dec. 20. Masks are required at both locations. Limit 10 dogs and their person.
