Other
We are defining Maine College Transitions Programs as comprehensive, integrated or sequential programs of study leading to enrollment in a post secondary institution. MCTP are offered through local adult education programs.
All of our enrichment classes are self supporting throught the fees paid by the students enrolled.
We have several grants which make many of our courses self supporting.
We also receive money from the State of Maine for many of our academic students.
This revenue allows us to offer a great variety of academic and enrichment courses to our communities.
If Waterville Public Schools are cancelled during the day due to weather, there are no adult education classes at the Waterville site.
If RSU 18/Messalonskee Public Schools are cancelled during the day due to weather, there are no adult education classes at the Messalonskee site.
If a storm should start during the day, we will make the decision to cancel classes by 4:00 p.m. The announcement will be made on our web page, facebook page, and there will be a voice message on our telephone. As is always the case, the student must use his/her own judgement whether to venture out or not.
If you have taken a class with us and want to let us know how that class served you, please complete and return our course evaluation form to adulted@aos92.org
