Next session: March 1st to 22nd, 2025

In this class you will make a 16 X 24" braided rug or table runner. The instructor will supply two pounds of 100% medium weight wool and various braiding tools for you to try during the first class. Each package of wool will contain three colors to use for your rug or table runner and is $10 to the instructor at the start of the first class. If you wish to bring your own wool to class to use, please consider that light or heavy weight wool can create challenges for new rug braiders, but feel free to bring your wool to class and the instructor will help you decided what is right for you. At the end of the first night, students may choose to purchase additional supplies from the instructor, shop locally, or through the internet for items that you need and want. Please wait until after the first class before purchasing additional supplies. The first class you will only need to bring sharp fabric scissors, tape measure, and the materials fee mentioned previously. If you are already a rug braider and have a UFO (unfinished object) to work on, please feel free to join this class. Limit 10 students.
