If Waterville Public Schools are cancelled during the day due to weather, there are no adult education academic or enrichment classes at the Waterville site.

If RSU 18/Messalonskee Public Schools are cancelled during the day due to weather, there are no adult education enrichment classes at the Messalonskee site.

If a storm should start during the day, we will make the decision to cancel classes by 4:00 p.m. The announcement will be made on our web page, Facebook page, and there will be a voice message on our telephone. Students will receive an email with information regarding their class. As is always the case, the student must use his/her own judgement whether to venture out or not.

The Waterville Public Schools Superintendent will make the announcement of a delay and send an email out to all staff & K-12 learners that there is a delay.

  • 1 Hour Delays do not affect our Adult Education schedule as our classes are not scheduled to start until 9:00am.
  • If there is a 2-hour delay, we will delay all courses 1 hour to match up with the K-12 schedule of start of classes. Example: 2 hour delay means that our first class will start at 10:00 instead of 9:00.

Refunds will be given in the following situations:

  1.  If the course you register for is cancelled, we will refund your full registration fee.

  2. If the course you register for is filled when we receive your registration, we will refund your full registration fee.

  3. If you notify us 24 hours prior to the first class, we will refund your registration fee unless stated otherwise in the course description.

  4. Once a course begins, no refunds will be issued for that class.
